Mission Statement
“To be a reflection of God’s love….by providing a caring and compassionate place to gather and follow the teaching’s of Christ Jesus.”
Statement of Faith
About God...God is the creator and sustain-er of the universe. God exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This coexistence is called the Trinity.
(Genesis 1:1,26, 27, 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:13)
About Jesus the Christ...Jesus the Christ is the son of God. He lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. Jesus rose from the dead on the third day to show his power over sin and death. Jesus ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father and will return again to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
(Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13)
About the Holy Spirit...The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is present in the world to make men and women aware of their need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit works in the lives of believers. The power of the Holy Spirit is able to change the lives of those who believe. The Holy Spirit possesses a mind, emotions, and a will. The Spirit can be grieved and intercedes on our behalf, truly functioning as comforter and counselor as Jesus promised.
(John 14:16, 26, 15:26; 1 Corinthians 2:10; Ephesians 4:30; Romans 8:26-27 )

About Salvation...Salvation is God’s free gift to us as his children, but we must accept it. Only through the work of Jesus the Christ on the cross are we washed clean of our sin…We cannot do this alone or through good works. When we turn away from our need for self-control and worldly desires and turn to Jesus in faith are we saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus as Lord and Savior.
(Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1)
